This case study shows how Bidgely supported NV Energy in identifying EV customers targeting high on-peak chargers and shifting load through a managed charging journey. NV Energy started with a sample population of 20 241 customers and used EV Intelligence to identify 419 EV users (2%) narrow to 233 charging on-peak and ultimately focus on 103 high-value customers who contributed 63% of load-shifting potential. With targeted recruitment and telematics-based managed charging NV Energy achieved 3X higher kW/car than the average population and delivered ~1 kW/car over 20+ events—well above typical industry results (0.2–0.3 kW/car).
