Third-party evaluation puts Home Energy Reports at the top of DESC’s efficiency portfolio.
Dominion Energy South Carolina uses Bidgely-supported Home Energy Reports to help customers compare their energy use with similar homes and find ways to save. In PY15, the program delivered 33,588 MWh in evaluated gross energy savings, exceeding its forecast by 27%. Home Energy Reports accounted for 40% of the utility's portfolio-wide gross energy savings, making it the largest contributor for the utility. The program also achieved a Total Resource Cost (TRC) ratio of 2.63. This presentation covers these results, the broader program evaluation, and DESC's PY16 midyear portfolio update.
